This is Android's standard system permission. Paper VPN cannot create a VPN tunnel until you approve the prompt. Tap OK or Allow when Android asks for permission.
Connection Questions
Open Paper VPN and tap the power control on the home screen. Wait for the status to change to Connected. Tap the same control again when you want to disconnect.
Try again first. If the connection still fails, choose another server, confirm that your internet connection works without the VPN, and restart the app. Server availability can vary by network and region.
Some carriers restrict VPN traffic or specific server routes. Try another server. If mobile data still cannot connect, switch to Wi-Fi and try again.
Disconnect and reconnect, then try another server. Also confirm that Wi-Fi or mobile data works without the VPN. Some websites and apps may restrict traffic from particular VPN servers.
VPN traffic travels through an additional server, so speed can be affected by your network quality, server distance, server load, carrier routing, and the service you are using. Compare the displayed latency and try a different server or network.
Free Servers are available without an active VIP subscription and may be subject to connection-time limits and advertising. Quality Servers require active VIP access. Available locations, latency, and capacity can change over time.
Android battery optimization, data saver, background restrictions, or a switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data can interrupt the tunnel. Allow Paper VPN to run in the background, wait a few seconds after a network change, and reconnect if needed.
Open Android Settings, search for VPN, remove the Paper VPN profile if it is listed, then return to Paper VPN and connect again. Android will show the permission prompt when needed. The exact settings path varies by device.
Use Feedback in Paper VPN Settings or email [email protected]. Include your Android version, app version, network type, selected server, and a clear description. For payment questions, include the order or receipt reference, but never send a full card number, security code, password, or authentication token.
VIP and Payment Questions
Paper VPN may offer Weekly and Monthly VIP plans. The current plans, prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and available payment methods are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
An active VIP entitlement provides access to Quality Servers, unlimited connection time, and an ad-free experience for the duration of the subscription.
Select a plan in Paper VPN and tap Continue. The app opens a hosted checkout page where the available payment methods and final purchase terms are shown before you confirm payment.
Open Settings to view your User ID and membership summary. For plan, expiration, renewal, and status details, open Subscription Refund.
Wait briefly for the app to refresh the payment result, then reopen Paper VPN and check the membership status. If VIP is still unavailable, keep the order reference and contact support through Feedback.
Open Settings, select Subscription Refund, and tap Cancel Automatic Subscription when that option is available. Canceling renewal prevents future recurring charges but does not refund the current subscription period.
Open Settings, select Subscription Refund, and choose Request a Refund. Select a reason, describe the issue, provide a valid contact email, confirm the refund terms, and submit. You may attach relevant screenshots.
Refund requests are reviewed individually. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
We normally review a complete request within 1-3 business days. Additional information or payment-provider processing may take longer. The result is sent to the contact email entered with the request.
